Although 2011 was a difficult year for our industry, the news was not all bad and we at Connaught Conservatory Roofs managed to grow our business in a challenging climate. The increase in business was achieved through listening to our customers, Introducing new products and services to our customers and making the installation of our fabricated roofs and orangeries as simple and quick as possible for the Installer.
Our customers are at the “coal face” of our industry and listening to them and acting on their concerns must be a priority, even more so in an increasingly fragmented market. Acting on the feedback from the end user is vital to understanding what is needed to grow in challenging times. Being an Independent fabricator Connaught have the flexibility and the technical expertise to satisfy the whole conservatory/orangery market without compromising on quality in both the domestic and commercial markets.
Connaught in 2012 will be investing even more time and resources into forging ever more closer partnerships with our colleagues in the retail and commercial sectors. With the new products and innovations available in the market place now, there are even more opportunities to grow. A personal note to me for 2012 is to not read the doom and gloom merchants in the press, sorry Robert Peston, perhaps it should be a New Year’s resolution for us all.
